Here is a 50th Anniversary Shelby GT-H Hertz Edition, one of only 171 cars produced by Shelby exclusively for the Hertz Corporation to commemorate the 1966 Shelby GT350H Hertz Rent-A-Racer. With only 171 examples produced, here is a unique opportunity to own a piece of Shelby Hertz Ford history. This 50th Anniversary Edition is in many ways better than the first edition. It’s rarer, it’s faster, it’s more comfortable to drive, and it has all kinds of technology and safety feature upgrades. Let’s start with the engine, it is powered by the 5.0 liter Coyote engine with 435 horsepower, coupled with a 6 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifter on the steering wheel. This allows this pony to gallop through the quarter mile in just 12.9 seconds at 110 MPH. With the Ford Racing exhaust system you hear it coming and going. Some of the technology equipment includes navigation, back up camera, remote start, and line lock for you racing fans. Some of the comfort upgrades include leather, heated/cooled 6 way power seats with lumbar adjustment, AM/FM CD stereo system with steering control, dual climate control A/C system, power windows, lock and steering, cruise, tilt, and 4 way power anti-lock disc brakes. Like I said earlier, this is the best Shelby Hertz car built to this date and to top it all off you can own it for half the price of a ’66 Shelby Hertz.
