Here is a beautiful, solid, nice running and driving Healey. It was the last year for the 3000 MK III model. Known ownership history since new, including a copy of the original M.S.O. The car has had 3 owners. Sold new on April 28, 1967 from Grand Prix Motors Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida to a medical doctor in Birmingham, Alabama. He owned the car for approximately 18 months and sold it on November 26, 1968 to a medical student who drove it through medical school. He owned the car for 14 years and sold it to the 3rd owner late in 1982. The 3rd owner has owned and cared for the car for the last 37 years. The car spent the first part of it’s life in Alabama. It has spent the last 37 years in the Orlando area. The car has never seen the salty winter roads of the north, so it’s overall extremely solid with it’s original floors, sills, outriggers, rocker and body panels. The seats are original, but I had a new door panel kit installed along with a new burl walnut dash. The car drives out nicely, engine runs very strong. I performed a compression test and all 6 cylinders were at 160 PSI. The oil pressure is over 40 at idle and 60+ driving down the road. The previous owner did a lot of mechanical work like a new clutch, brakes, brake booster, new S/U carburetors. She also had A/C installed. The front end has just been rebuilt with new king pins and bushing. The car is originally Healey blue and was striped and repainted back to Healey blue. The white cove was added. 1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII AACA Winner, only 29,906 original miles. 1 of only 553 Golden Beige Metallic cars produced in 1967. It was the only year that Golden Beige Metallic was offered on the Austin Healey 3000. 1967 was the last year of production for the Healey 3000 model. This Healey is one of the most solid examples you’ll find. It has never had a patch panel welded on it. Every body panel is original and accident free. I performed a cosmetic restoration on the car in 1989, 30 years ago today. I recently showed the car with AACA in February of 2019 and received a first. The pictures pretty much tell the story. Pictures were taken on March 1, 2019. The car had 28,200 miles before I restored it. It has been driven only 1,700 miles in the last 30 years, only on sunny days and never in the rain. The miles are documented on the title. If you would like to own one of the nicest, solidest and rarest Austin Healey that money can buy, this could be the car. 1966 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III—HBJ8L32519 The same owner since 1972. It had a full restoration when it had 60,500 miles on it. The restoration began in 2003 by the premier Austin Healey and British car specialist Tskuris Classics in Lakeland, FL. It was completed in March 2006 with $94,836 spent. It is in pristine show condition with only 500 miles driven since the restoration. It was done in its original color Old English White with Black leather, Black Everflex top and boot cover. Here is a beautiful example of a 1967 Austin Healey 3000. It’s a solid Oklahoma car with the original floors, outriggers, sills and rockers. We first purchased this car back in 1991 out of Oklahoma. It has only 52,850 original miles. It has only been driven only 2,500 miles in the last 20 years. The paint and body is absolutely beautiful. The interior is original and show a patina that could only been found on a low mileage well cared for car. Even the polkadot aluminum in the door jam area is original and looks so good you would think they were new. It has safety belts in both the front and back. The only not stock item on this car is the straight back exhaust system. It has an amazing sound all its own that was unique to the early Healeys. In 1964-1967 they added 2 extra mufflers at the rear quieting the car. If you are looking for an exceptional nicely well cared for Healey- you have found it.
